Sonora’s Opera Hall is a center of pride for our Historic Downtown. The Opera Hall began its rich history as a Flour Mill in 1879 from monies derived from the famed Bonanza Gold Mine. The Opera Hall is the center piece of our downtown hosting events every weekend of the year including: weddings, concerts, art shows, businesses expos and an array of community events, The Sonora Opera Hall truly represents the “Queen of the Southern mines” well!
