Celebrate Tuolumne County’s Culinary Scene with the Snap & Savor Photo Contest

SONORA, CA – Visit Tuolumne County (VTC) has announced the Snap & Savor Photo Contest in celebration of California Restaurant Month in January 2025.  This exciting initiative highlights the diverse culinary offerings of Tuolumne County while encouraging locals and visitors to explore and enjoy the region’s vibrant food and beverage scene. 

California Restaurant Month was designed to boost business during a traditionally slow period, and VTC is embracing this opportunity to shine a spotlight on local businesses, chefs, food producers, craft beer and cider brewers and winemakers who make Tuolumne County a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts. 

The Snap & Savor Photo Contest invites food lovers to share their dining experiences at participating Tuolumne County restaurants, wineries, breweries, and cider houses. Whether it's a delectable entrée, a mouthwatering dessert, or a beautifully poured glass of local wine, beer, or cider, participants can capture the essence of Tuolumne County’s culinary excellence. 

How It Works 

  1. Dine: Visit a participating restaurant or establishment in Tuolumne County during January 2025. 
  2. Snap: Take a photo of your meal or dining experience. 
  3. Share: Post the photo on Instagram or Facebook, tag the restaurant and Visit Tuolumne County, and use the hashtag #SavorTuolumne. 

Each post counts as an entry, and there’s no limit—participants can submit photos of different meals throughout the month. 

Prizes to Savor 

Participants can win exciting prizes, including: 

Grand prize winners will be selected through a random drawing or based on creativity by a panel of judges. Runner-up winners will be drawn at random.  The results will be announced on February 1, 2025, via VTC’s social media channels.
