There's nothing like a hike in Yosemite to make you forget about the world's problems. Hetch Hetchy Reservoir is a lesser-known, yet awe-inspiring, destination in Yosemite National Park. The fairly flat trail to Wapama Falls is a remarkable one. Begin your journey at the O'Shaughnessy Dam, and bask in the views of the vast reservoir. Walk along the water’s edge for this 5-mile out and back trail to Wapama Falls. Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias is another hidden gem in Yosemite! Walk among and through giant sequoias!

Get a taste of the local flavor in Tuolumne County's historic Gold Country. Jamestown is home to Gianelli Vineyards that has a tasting room overlooking the rolling foothills of the Sierra. Gather with the girls and taste the afternoon away. Nearby, in Sonora, Indigeny Reserve offers tastings of their legendary local cider and spirits. Have an afternoon picnic and wander through the organic orchards, on site. If your friends are beer people, check out Groveland's newest brewery, Around the Horn, play a round of corn hole and enjoy their unique, consistently changing beers!

Grab your girls and book a group appointment at Amala Detox & Tea Lounge, a small-town spa in Downtown Sonora. Treat yourself to treatments your city friends won’t believe. Sip on one of their specialty teas and browse their menu of unique services. A local favorite is their Ionic Foot Soak that will pull toxins out of your body straight through your feet.
