DESCRIPTION
During the summer months, catch your breath in the incomparable and open scenery of Tuolumne Meadows, a large, open subalpine meadow graced by the winding Tuolumne River and surrounded by majestic peaks and domes. Seasonal services include a visitors center, wilderness permit center, store and cafe.
Tuolumne Meadows is accessed on Highway 120 East, the Tioga Road in Yosemite. This section of Highway 120 is generally open from the end of May through the end of October.

Directions: From Groveland, CA, travel east on Hwy 120 into Yosemite National Park. At Crane Flat (approx. 45 minutes from Groveland), turn onto Hwy 120 East (Tioga Rd.) and travel approximately 25 miles. Note: There is no gas/fuel availalble at Tuolumne Meadows.
